I love living in California for the weather.
It’s the middle of February right now. Today, I got to wear a tank top, shorts, sunglasses. I got to go to the beach, the sun warming my skin and a warm but chilly breeze to keep me cool but not too cold. And then I got ice cream.
I like the rain, but wow I like the sun too.
It should be illegal for teachers to assign homework over breaks, because I feel an awful load of regret for missing out on such a beautiful day outside.
Y'all all I wanted to do today was to drive and...
I need to learn how to drive freeways.

Not even through 1/4 of Cry, the Beloved Country
or the seven essays on it that are due exactly a week from now, the day of which we can expect an in-class essay. I just finished a photography portfolio today. Needless to say I’m stressing only one day into the break.
But at least my class is all sorts of awesome and this book is fantastic.
